Membership

Why join

Funding for classroom resources are limited for many professional educators. Members of Kappa Delta Pi are eligible to apply for grants to help meet the instructional needs of their students. The Sigma Theta Chapter is currently working on a new grant exclusively available to its local members.

Members of Kappa Delta Pi and the Sigma Theta Chapter often develop the aspiration of acquiring advance credentials and professional development to better serve their students. This may necessitate completion of a graduate program. However, the cost of tuition is on the rise. Scholarships are available to Kappa Delta Pi members to help finance tuition.

How to join

Eligible students at Saint Xavier University will receive an email from the School of Education encouraging them to apply for membership. Recipients of this email meet the minimum requirements mandated by our local Chapter Bylaws. Faculty members and practicing teachers are also eligible for membership with discretion from the Membership and Executive Committees.
